Launch of the cycle “Meetings with schoolchildren on Europe”

On 27 January, the Europe Direct Centre and the City of Nice are launching a series of "Meetings with schoolchildren on Europe".

The big event of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union is not just for adults. On 27 January, the Europe Direct Centre and the City of Nice are launching a series of “Meetings with schoolchildren on Europe“, which will begin at the Colline du Château school and continue in the city’s various schools.

Since 2015, after the Charlie Hebdo attack, the City of Nice has been implementing actions aimed at awakening the citizenship of children in Nice. One of these measures is certainly the use of the booklet and the citizen passport for the youngest.

Accompanied by Magali ALTOUNIAN, deputy mayor of Nice for European institutions, the city’s radiance and sub-delegate for finance, the Europe Direct Centre team will visit classes with fun activities to talk about Europe and citizenship with the children.

Questions, games, slides are on the programme for this day, but also singing!
